In 2017, CELA collaborated with researchers from the Institute of State and Law to perform the Contract for Thailand client on providing legal information related to chrysotile asbestos in eight (08) countries, including: Brazil, Canada, India, Philippines, Thailand, Russia, United States, and Vietnam. The Report covers the following scope: (i) Institutional Framework The Study shall list and describe all the various government agencies or organizations involved with regards to the issue of asbestos such as the Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Commerce, and Environmental Protection Agency. (ii) Policy Framework The Study shall include the relevant policy frameworks of each country, such as the National Policy to Eliminate Asbestos-Related Diseases and so forth. (iii) Legislative Framework The Study shall list and describe the relevant legislative frameworks, including Acts, Ministerial Regulations, Department Orders and so forth
